I am in need of a new furnace and was curious if I should stick with using heating oil or convert to electric or propane?

(just FYI i am aware wood and coal alternatives are cheap, but i am looking for something less maintained)
If you have Exp in the field, which way do you see things going? is oil going to continue to drop? Is Electric going to continue to go up?
